Does Laurel Ridge Barn have a full bar?
Yes, Laurel Ridge Barn has a full liquor license. This allows us to serve beer, wine, mixed drinks, liquor and pretty much anything.
How big is Laurel Ridge Barn?
Any event from 5 to 450 is the ideal size for our barn. 50’ by 144’ plus a loft of 72’ by 50 and an additional storage area of 38’ by 24’ bringing our space to 11,800 square feet.
If we have our ceremony on-site where will this take place?
Outside our patio is our most popular option. We also have some clients who select inside: Loft & Main Hall.
What is included in the rental fee?

What decor is allowed?
We are very flexible. We just want the decor to be easily cleanable. Decor must also not attach to the barn itself.
Are real candles allowed?
Yes as long as the glass is above the flame.
What time does music need to stop?
Outside music by 10 pm and indoor music by 12 midnight.
What is the retainer amount for a wedding?
$2,000 to save a date and officially book a day at Laurel Ridge Barn.
Is there an additional cost to have a ceremony on-site?
No full access to all five acres both inside the barn and outside.
Is there a loft or second level?
Yes and very spacious. Our loft can be used for a wedding ceremony, reception seating, kids area, pictures, cocktail hour, and much more.
Is there a special space for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready?
Yes, there is a private bridal suite for the bride with a bathroom.
Is there a room for the groom and groomsmen to get ready?
Yes, there is a private bridal suite for the groom with a bathroom.
Where does the caterer set up?
Typically inside the main hallway.
How far from Sioux Falls is Laurel Ridge Barn?
We have a Sioux Falls address. We are one mile outside the city limits.
Should I wait to book a venue?
We always say reserve the venue first and then relax.
Where can the DJ set up?
We have put extra power in each of our great room columns. So there are 4 main areas, but each DJ will have a different vision so best to ask the DJ.
Is there air conditioning?
Yes and lots of it. We can accommodate requests.
Is there heat?
Yes and lots of it. We can accommodate requests.
Do the bride and groom rooms have locks?
Yes.
Is our parking lot paved?
Yes, we have 140 paved spaces in addition to our driveway. We also have an overflow lot for much more parking. We say total of 220 hard surface in total.
Do you have a Friday and Saturday package?
Yes, we do please inquire with us.
When can the barn be accessed?

Is outside beer/wine/liquor or any other outside liquids allowed?
We are flexible on coffee drinks from 8am-10am besides that all other liquid (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) must be purchased through us. We always recommend having this note on your invite and we will also have a sign as you walk into the barn. This applies to anywhere on our 30 acres.
Is there an additional cost for an outdoor bar?
No, as long as your adult count is 220 or more we include the outside bar.
Is there a projector and screen available?
Yes, we have an optional add for a 250′ screen and projector that can be controlled with any hdmi cord.
