Frequently Asked Question About Covid

Q: Is there a limit in South Dakota to the number of guests allowed at a wedding venue?

A There are recommendations but no mandate. What this means is weddings and events of all types are still allowed and legal to have.

Q: Has the city of Sioux Falls had any limits on number of guests?

A: We are outside of city limits so at this time this does not affect our venue.

Q: What measure do we have to ensure a safe and clean environment?

A: We are using Ecolab which is a cleaning supplies vendor that is assisting in properly disinfecting after each use.

Q: Are you concerned about your date?

A: Follow the below Covid Policy for concerns.

 

Covid Policy:

  • If your rental date is shorter than 30 days then our policy is to proceed as originally planned. See Section 1.
  • If your rental date is longer than 30 days out our policy is to wait and not change anything at this time. See Section 2
  • If a government mandate goes into place. See Section 3.

Section 1

  1. If there is no Federal, State, County, or Township mandate then we will proceed as planned with contract date.
    1. We will not allow a rental date change unless a mandate is ordered.
    2. If a government mandate (not recommendation) is ordered for the rental date then follow these steps
      1. We want to be clear we will try to accommodate as much as possible, however we only have a certain amount of dates available.
      2. All postpone 2020 dates must have an event date on or before November 30, 2020
      3. If you rented a Saturday then you are eligible to receive up to a Saturday, but this is not guaranteed.
      4. If you rented a Friday then you are eligible to receive up to a Friday, but this is not guaranteed.
      5. If you rented a Sunday then you are eligible to receive up to a Sunday (Sunday-Thursday is Eligible)
      6. If you rented a multi-day Friday and Saturday then you are eligible to receive up to a Friday and Saturday, but this is not guaranteed.
      7. If you rented a partial rehearsal day on Thursday then you are eligible to receive up to a partial Thursday.
    3. We will not issue any refunds of any kind.
    4. In order to move a date you must be paid in full.
    5. We will not move any dates past November 30, 2020.
    6. We will be more flexible on Fridays, so if you have a Saturday booked please keep Friday in mind. (Please Please Please)

Section 2

  1. We will not allow a rental date change unless a mandate is ordered.
  2. We will not issue any refunds of any kind.
  3. We are not allowing date changes if your date is not within 30 days.
    1. We recommend getting a back up date or two and reach out to your vendors as this is a fluid situation and can change at any time.
  4. If there is not a mandate there is no date change available.
  5. You are still required to make payments in full and the last payment is due 90 days prior to original date.

Section 3

  1. If you are within the first 30 days you will have a calendar first right of a date change. You will have 48 hours to let us know what next open date prior to November 30, 2020 you would like to switch to. A new contract will be emailed and required to be signed to have a date changed.
  2. If you are outside the first 30 days and within the government mandated time frame then it will be on a booked first order. You will have 48 hours to let us know what next open date prior to November 30, 2020 you would like to switch to. A new contract will be emailed and required to be signed to have a date changed. Payment schedule from theĀ original date is required for a date change.
  3. If your date is outside the mandate then proceed as contract states.
